The present article aims to bring us closer to one of the most sensitive and least studied topics within Michoacan historiography: the childhoods and the social environment in which they were participants during the second half of the 18th century in Valladolid de Michoacán. In this sense, throughout the text there are described moments in which the children were immersed in a series of situations that affected them, and in some cases, they could lead to death, mainly when there is illness; also, we will see situations related to sexual abuse, the irresponsibility of parents, racial conditions and even the dynamics of a simple amusement that could sometimes leave a mark on them. Therefore, it is the reflection that in our present, these factors have not entirely changed for many of them.
