Abstract

En el siglo XIX, Michoacán fue un escenario de importantes proyectos de desarrollo regional que impulsaron diversas organizaciones de la naciente clase empresarial mexicana, con el apoyo abierto o velado de los gobiernos en turno. Se trataba con ello de incentivar el aparto productivo e incorporar a la entidad la dinámica economica nacional.
