Corría el año de 1909 en el Estado de Michoacán, dejando a su paso una secuela
de problemas para el campesino sin tierra, el peón atado por una deuda insalvable a
la hacienda,el pequeño propietario sin recursos suficientes para echar a andar su posesión,
el comunero en lucha constante por recuperar sus tierras perdidas, el obrero
textil con un salario insuficiente, el ferrocarrilero descalificado con sueldos muy por
debajo de los obreros extranjeros, el minero sumergido en los socabones. El año
transcurría bajo el peso de la íncertídumbre y el descontento. Nuevos vientos soplaban
a lo largo y ancho de Michoacán.
