soldado del siglo XVI, Pedro Cieza de León en su obra Crónica
del Perú sobre la guerra entre incas y chancas. Esta famosa
y particular contienda es relatada por diferentes cronistas
andinos, ya que tras la victoria inca se inició el Tawantinsu-
yu o imperio inca. Especificamente, me enfoco a estudiar la
perspectiva brindada por Cieza y los elementos particulares
y significativos que proporcionó este relato sobre el episo-
dio de dicho enfrentamiento.
